• The top landing must be a minimum of 1,200 mm x 1,200 mm.

• The cross slope of the landing must be a maximum of 1:48.

• The gradient of the running slope must be a maximum of 1:12.

• Flared sides (intended to prevent tripping hazards) should not exceed 1:10.

Parallel curb ramps. The minimum requirements for parallel curb ramps are as follows:

• For curb ramps parallel to the curb of the pavement, landings a minimum of 1,200 mm x 1,200 mm must be provided at the bottom of the curb ramps (Figure 18).
